The American Football

On February 28, 2007 U.S. Embassy Yerevan Regional Security Officer Peter Ford gave his second public lecture at the American Corner Gyumri with the topic of “American Football.” The lecturer presented the audience with the main rules of American Football, identifying three main leagues (High School, College, and National) of this national sport. The lecture was interesting and amazing. Peter Ford involved the participants in a lively discussion. He even managed to form an “American Corner Gyumri Football Team” from participants and showed how to play the game. More than 25 participants from universities participated in the presentation.
This was the 5th public lecture held by Peter Ford; two in Gyumri and three in Yerevan. For his outstanding contribution to the "American's at the American Corner" speaker program, Peter Ford has been nominated for "Honorable Friend of the American Corners in Armenia" Annual Award!
