Public lecture to English Language Teachers.
On April 16, 2007, Information Resource Officer Bill Middleton from U.S. Embassy Vienna gave a public lecture at the Gyumri American Corner. It was his second visit to Gyumri and his first public lecture for the Gyumri American Corner audience. The lecture topic was “Web Resources for English Language Teaching and Training." The participants were very interested in the topic and mentioned that it was very useful, especially for teachers. The lecturer described in detail different web resources specially designed for English language learning and teaching. Bill Middleton also spoke about different exchange program opportunities in the U.S. More than 35 participants, including English language Teachers from different schools and universities, took part to the lecture.
