Global UGRAD Program Presentation at Gyumri American Corner

On November 27, 2008, UGRAD alumnus Gurgen Balasanyan gave a presentation on the Global UGRAD program at the Gyumri American Corner. Gurgen has just returned from the U.S., where he spent a year as a UGRAD student. He shared his experiences about applying for the program with American Corner English club members and explained each application section. He talked about the university where he studied and about his life in the United States. He spoke about how he spent his leisure time and how he participated in community and volunteer activities. After the presentation, Gurgen answered many questions about applying for his visa, obtaining references, and other general application concerns.
