Educational Advising Center Event with PCVs at the Gyumri American Corner

On May 8, 2009, the Yerevan Educational Advising Center (EAC) and the Gyumri American Corner organized a special event with Peace Corps Volunteers (PCVs). American Councils Country Director Elvira Dana and Yerevan EAC Senior Advisor Gayane Grigoryan met with Gyumri PCVs to explain EAC programs and discuss how volunteers can help students to apply to U.S. universities. U.S. Consul Robin Busse also gave a presentation on student visas. The training will help Peace Corps Volunteers serving in Gyumri provide clear, accurate information on studying in the United States to their Armenian friends and colleagues.
