How to Apply for a U.S. Permanent Residency Card
3:00pm 28.10.2009
On October 28, 2009, U. S. Consul Robert Farquhar gave a special presentation at the Gyumri American Corner about the U.S. Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery Program 2011. During the lecture, the Consul described the program and provided statistics on how many people around the world receive “greencards” annually.
The questions and answer session lasted more than an hour. Participants asked a lot of questions about the program and the application process. He advised people to complete the entire process before making major decisions, such as selling a home. A U.S Embassy Immigrant Visa Assistant translated part of the presentation for those who did not speak English and answered questions about DV Lottery processing.
More than 20 people participated in the presentation and learned how to apply for the DV Lottery Program.
