Movie Program

On January 30, 2012 the Yerevan Information Resource Center in conjunction with the American Corner in Gyumri initiated a movie program led by the embassy legal advisor Steve Kessler.

The film “Inherit the Wind” (1960) by Stanley Kramer was screened for patrons and American Corner friends. It was nearly 2 hours film. “Inherit the Wind” is based on real-life story case in 1925. The movie was a representation of religious views and science. It was a combination of morality, politics and love as well.

Steve Kessler opened the movie with a short introduction and after having watched it started discussion of some points. Then Steve suggested students to share with their opinions. Flex alumni Hasmik Tanapetyan had wrote down some passages from the film and discussed them.

Over 30 people were present. Among them students, high school pupils, teachers and lecturers.
